Shan Shan

Shan Shan, M.Ed, is a skilled professional with extensive experience in learning design and development, currently serving as Manager of Training Systems at the International Air Transport Association (IATA) since April 2023. Prior to this role, Shan was a Senior Learning Experience Designer at Amazon, where responsibilities included creating learning experiences and implementing xAPI for learning measurement. Shan has also worked as a Training Specialist at Shopify, focusing on security awareness training, and as a Learning and Development Specialist at Fairstone, where a significant number of e-learning projects were developed. Previous experience includes roles at IATA focused on communication and engagement, as well as instructional facilitation at Berlitz Canada and curriculum design at New Oriental Education & Technology Group. Shan holds two Master’s degrees—one in Adult Education and Teaching from Concordia University and another in Educational/Instructional Technology from Tongji University—and a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Central South University of Forestry and Technology.
