Thomas Linner

Thomas Linner is a seasoned academic and professional specializing in the digital built environment and construction robotics. Currently serving as a Professor at Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Regensburg, Linner also leads the Digital Production and Robotics in Construction laboratory at Building Lab and collaborates on various projects, including Horizon Europe’s ENSNARE initiative focusing on high-volume renovation sustainability. Linner's expertise extends to coordinating multiple projects related to digitalization in construction, such as the MAIA Project and ReduSys, while holding several prestigious positions, including Managing Director at CREDO Robotics GmbH and Associate Editor for the Springer Journal of Construction Robotics. Linner holds a Dr.-Ing. in Construction Robotics from the Technical University of Munich and has an extensive background in architectural technology and construction management.
