Bryan Gast, CFE, currently serves as the Director and Associate Director at the International Association of Auto Theft Investigators (IAATI) since August 2022. In addition, Bryan holds memberships on the Private Sector Liaison Committee for the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police and serves as the Vice President of the Investigative Services Division at Équité Association. Prior to these roles, Bryan was the National Director of the Investigative Services Division at the Insurance Bureau of Canada, overseeing operations and strategies against insurance fraud from June 2019 to October 2021. Bryan's extensive career with the Ontario Provincial Police spanned from January 1995 to August 2019, where responsibilities included Detective Inspector and roles in the Anti-Rackets Branch addressing economic crime and identity fraud. Bryan Gast's educational background includes an Executive Certificate in Conflict Management from the University of Windsor and training from the Ontario Police College.

The International Association of Auto Theft Investigators (IAATI) was formed in 1952 in order to improve communication and coordination among the growing family of professional auto theft investigators. It has grown to approximately 2,000 members representing 58 countries and includes representatives of law enforcement agencies, as well as many others with a legitimate interest in auto theft investigation, prevention and education.
