Duane Treadon, GISP, serves as an Adjunct Professor at Thomas University since January 2023, focusing on GIS education. With extensive experience at the City of Thomasville, starting in December 1993, Treadon has held multiple roles, including Manager of Municipal Court, Records & Crime Analysis Divisions, GIS Analyst, and Zoning Administrator, contributing significantly to the development and implementation of GIS systems within municipal operations. Treadon actively participates in the USCG Auxiliary, serving in various capacities since October 2001, and holds board membership positions with the Marguerite Neel Williams Boys & Girls Clubs, Inc., SHRUG GIS, and the Georgia Alliance of Preservation Commissions. Treadon is also a member of the Florida Crime & Intelligence Analyst Association and the International Association of Crime Analysts. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in GIS from Penn State University and a Bachelor's in Criminology from Florida State University.
