Political Program Coordinator For Collective Bargaining & State Initiatives at International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF)

Christopher Bartley is an experienced political program coordinator with a focus on collective bargaining and state initiatives for the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) since 2017. Previously held various significant roles, including State Policy & Legislative Representative and Fire-Based EMS Specialist, while also serving on the IAFF Standing Committee on Occupational Safety and Health. Bartley was the Secretary/Treasurer for the Kentucky Professional Fire Fighters and served as Fire Captain at the Lexington Fire Department until June 2021. In addition to being the President of the Lexington Professional Firefighters IAFF Local 526, Bartley was the head lobbyist and Legislative Affairs/Political Director for the Kentucky Professional Firefighters, working on policy research and legislative development. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Kentucky, completed in 2017.
