Christopher Knowlton

Christopher Knowlton is an accomplished lighting design professional with extensive experience in leadership and design roles. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of the International Association of Lighting Designers since May 2022, Christopher previously held directorial positions at 18 Degrees and Christopher Knowlton Lighting Design Ltd. Early career experience includes senior design work at Design International and design roles at Equation Lighting Design. Christopher's educational background includes an Executive MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology, an MSc in Light & Lighting from UCL, a BA(Hons) in Lighting Design from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, and a BETEC Level 5 in Sports Massage from North London School of Sports Massage.
