Barbara Cosgrove

Barbara Cosgrove is an accomplished privacy and data ethics leader with extensive experience in various roles within Workday, including Vice President and Chief Privacy Officer since February 2007, where Barbara advocates for global privacy initiatives and leads the data privacy, machine learning ethics, and technology compliance team. Prior positions at Workday also include Chief Security Officer and Privacy & Security Program Manager. Cosgrove has been active in the privacy community, serving on the Board of Directors for the International Association of Privacy Professionals and as an Advisory Board Member for the Future of Privacy Forum and The Rise of Privacy Tech. Previous experience includes HR Compliance Manager at Kaiser Permanente and various compliance and product management roles at PeopleSoft, eBenefits, and the Council on Education in Management, complemented by a Juris Doctor from Widener University Schools of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising from Penn State University.
