Annie Handmer

Annie Handmer, PhD, serves as IPC Co-Chair for the International Programming Committee of the International Astronautical Congress 2024 and 2025 while currently holding the position of Satellite Policy and Industry Engagement Manager at Optus, focusing on Australian Industry Capability. As an Honorary Affiliate and Associate Lecturer at the University of Sydney, Annie engages in postdoctoral research and teaching in the School of History and Philosophy of Science. Previous roles include Product Manager at HEO Robotics, Senior Associate in the Department of Premier and Cabinet (NSW), and creator of The Space Junk Podcast. Annie's academic background includes a PhD in Science Studies and a Bachelor's and Honours degree from the University of Sydney.
