Petra E. Georgi

Petra E. Georgi serves as the Head of Project Management Support and the Head of Contract Administration at DLR since October 2007. Additionally, Petra is a member of the International Program/Project Management Committee at the International Astronautical Federation since February 2010 and was a Subject Matter Expert for TC258 at ISO from May 2015 to December 2020. During the same period, Petra contributed as a member of NQSZ 147-00-04 AA "Projektmanagement" at DIN Deutsches Institut für Normung e. V. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Funding Consultant and PhD Student at the Leibniz Institute for Solid State and Materials Research from 1999 to September 2007. Academic credentials include a PhD in Physical Chemistry from Technische Universität Dresden, an MBA in Higher Education and Research Management from Hochschule Osnabrück, and a Dipl.-Ing. in Chemical Engineering & Environmental Technologies from Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Dresden, along with a qualification as a Dietician from Medizinische Fachschule/Med. Akademie Dresden.
