Michelle Carter has over 20 years of work experience in supply chain management. Michelle currently serves as the Supply Chain Director for IAC Group, responsible for Europe, Asia, and RSA since 2022. Prior to that, they were the Supply Chain Director for IAC Group's European operations from 2020 to 2022. Before joining IAC Group, Michelle worked as the Supply Chain Director for SPS Aerostructures from 2018 to 2019. From 2012 to 2018, they held various roles at Pattonair, including Forecasting, Planning, and Inventory Director, Group Supply Chain Development Manager, and Group Supply Chain Manager. Michelle also worked at BAE Systems, where they served as an Internal Business Consultant for Supply Chain Management in 2011 and as a Supply Chain Manager for Global Combat Systems, Vehicles CfA from 2009 to 2011. Michelle started their career at Airbus UK as a Programme Planning Manager from 2004 to 2006 and as a Capacity Planner for Assembly Business from 2003 to 2004. Michelle has also worked at Oxford Instruments as a Master Production Planner and ERP Implementation Facilitator from 2001 to 2003, at Leafield Engineering as a Materials Group Leader from 2000 to 2001, and at Leafield Engineering Ltd as a Senior Buyer from 1998 to 2000.
Michelle Carter MSc, MCIPS completed their Master of Science degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management at Cranfield School of Management from 2010 to 2012. Michelle also obtained a Diploma in Management Studies from Filton College in 2004-2005. Prior to that, they pursued the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply program at City of Bath College from 1993 to 1995.
