Dr. Lina El-Kouzi

Dr. Lina El-Kouzi is an experienced educator with a focus on Arabic language and literature, currently serving as the IB MYP Coordinator at Arab International Academy since August 2024. Since August 2021, Dr. El-Kouzi has also held positions as a Curriculum Designer and Professional Learning Designer at Qatar Foundation. With a long-standing association with the International Baccalaureate since September 2014, Dr. El-Kouzi has contributed as an IB Continuum Workshop Leader, BQC Reviewer, and IB DP Senior Examiner, among other roles. Previous teaching positions include a DP Language Acquisition Teacher and MYP Language and Literature Teacher at Wellspring Learning Community, and Arabic Teacher roles at various institutions, including AL Ikhaa School and IPS | Al Iman Pilot School in Lebanon. Dr. El-Kouzi holds a PhD in Arabic Language and Literature and a Master's Degree in Rhetoric and Composition/Writing Studies from Beirut Arab University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Arabic Language and Literature from Lebanese University, and the Lebanese Baccalaureate from Al Makassed Philanthropic Islamic Association of Beirut.
