Karen Chandler

Karen Chandler is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Deputy Head of Junior School at Kilvington Grammar School since January 2023. With a strong background in the International Baccalaureate program, Karen has been an IB PYP Workshop Leader and School Visitor since July 2013. Previous roles include PYP Coordinator at Firbank Grammar from January 2011 to January 2023 and classroom teacher at St Margaret's and Berwick Grammar School from January 2006 to December 2010. From January 2001 to June 2005, Karen held the position of Year 5 Coordinator and PE Specialist at Melbourne Grammar School Grimwade House. Karen holds a Master's degree in School Leadership with a focus on Gifted Education, earned at Monash University between 2006 and 2009.
