Clara Serva is a legal expert specializing in human rights and business law, currently serving as an Alternate Legal Expert at the United Nations for the Open-Ended Intergovernmental Working Group on transnational corporations and human rights, effective July 2024. Additionally, Clara acts as the Regional Advisor for Latin America at The Global Business Initiative on Human Rights and is a Partner and Head of the Business and Human Rights practice at TozziniFreire Advogados. Clara's extensive experience includes co-leading the Thematic Chamber of Social Impact at the Conselho Empresarial Brasileiro para o Desenvolvimento Sustentável, holding various positions in the International Bar Association's Business Human Rights Committee, and contributing to the ESG Commission of CFA Society Brazil. Educational qualifications encompass a Master's degree in Constitutional Law and mediation credentials, along with extensive involvement in pro bono legal work and strategic civil litigation.
