Katy Yuan

Katy Yuan currently serves as the Certification Manager at the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners® (IBLCE®) since August 2022. Previously, Katy worked as the Training and Development Coordinator for the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development, overseeing the implementation of training and certification programs for building code officials. With a multifaceted background, Katy has held various roles at the Irrigation Association, including Professional Development Manager, Professional Development Coordinator, and Administration Coordinator, where responsibilities encompassed managing certification programs, troubleshooting issues, and database maintenance. Prior experience includes member relations at Pacific Links, post-sale support at Evergreen Enterprises, and instructional duties at The Richmond Chinese School. Katy holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a minor in Business Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University.
