Gabriel Helmy is a Learning and Performance Specialist with extensive experience in education and consultancy. As the Chairperson of the Education Working Group at the International Business Chamber of Cambodia since April 2020, Gabriel collaborates with education and learning professionals to tackle the skills gap in Cambodia. In addition, Gabriel is the CEO and Founder of The Capacity Specialists, the first Learning & Performance consultancy in Cambodia, and the Director and Founder of Sociaven Co Ltd, which incubates multiple social enterprises. Previous roles include serving as a Volunteer Risk Management Consultant for Xac Bank in Mongolia and as a Manager at the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority, overseeing complex financial institutions. Gabriel's academic background includes a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance & Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia, as well as a degree in Business, Finance & Banking from the University of Technology Sydney.
