Roger Monk (MSc)

Roger Monk (MSc) has a diverse work experience in the finance and accounting industry. Roger started their career at stadsdeel Oost-Watergraafsmeer as an Adviseur financiële zaken from June 2006 to December 2007. Roger then joined Dienst Werk en Inkomen, Gemeente Amsterdam as a Senior Adviseur Planning, Control en Financiën from December 2007 to May 2009. Following this, they worked at Syntrus Achmea Pensioenbeheer as a Business/ Financial Controller from May 2009 to December 2014. Roger then joined ABN AMRO Bank N.V., where they held multiple roles, including Teamlead Accounting R&PB CB from December 2014 to April 2017, and later as Finance Manager Clients Accounting from May 2017 to December 2018. Currently, they are working at International Card Services (ICS) as a Finance Manager Accounting en Reporting from January 2019.

Roger Monk (MSc) completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Bedrijfseconomie from Hogeschool INHOLLAND between 2002 and 2006. Roger then pursued their Master of Science (MSc) in Accountancy & Control with a specialization in Control at the University of Amsterdam from 2008 to 2013. Currently, they are enrolled at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) since 2017, where they are working towards obtaining a Certified Management Accountant certification in Accounting and Business/Management.
