Korryn H. has a diverse range of work experience. Korryn began their career as a self-employed artist in 2012, focusing on their own website. In 2013, they worked as a receptionist for the Fine Arts Department at Hofstra University and also served as a house photographer at The Paramount.
In 2014, Korryn founded Creative Genius, a pre-professional organization that aimed to prepare creatives for the professional world. Korryn served as the founder, president, and creative director, overseeing the development of the organization and assigning tasks to board members. Additionally, they worked as a photography lab aide at Hofstra University, where they maintained the lab, studio, and classroom while assisting students with various photography skills.
Korryn continued to gain experience in the photography industry, working as a production assistant for Paul Aresu Photography in 2017. Korryn also worked as an administrative assistant for Theater 294 during the same year. In 2018, they took on the role of Editor-in-Chief at Izon Magazine, where they spearheaded initiatives to promote diversity in the industry and bridge the gap between tech, fashion, and beauty. Korryn managed the entire publication and collaborated with various talented professionals to create engaging content.
Most recently, Korryn has been working as a digital media lab assistant at the International Center of Photography since 2019. Throughout their career, they have showcased their skills in various roles, including artist, editor, photographer, producer, and director.
Korryn H. attended Central Islip Senior High School from 2005 to 2009, where they earned an Advanced Regents Diploma. Following their high school education, they went on to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Fine/Studio Arts, with a concentration in Photography at Hofstra University from 2009 to 2018.
