Tayvhon Pierce

Community Programs Assistant at International Center of Photography

Tayvhon Pierce has a diverse range of work experience, starting in 2015 as a Book Seller at Barnes & Noble, Inc. In 2016, Tayvhon worked as a Teacher Assistant at the International Center of Photography. This was followed by roles as Governor of Clubs and Ethnic Affairs and Academic Representative of Humanities at LaGuardia Community College from 2018 to 2019. Tayvhon then joined the CUNY University Student Senate as a Delegate in 2019 and again in 2020. Additionally, Tayvhon worked as a Community Programs Assistant at the International Center of Photography in 2019. In 2020, Tayvhon held multiple positions at John Jay College, including Senior Representative and Front Desk Receptionist. Tayvhon also participated in the CUNY Census Corps, a role held at The City University of New York, from January to April 2020.

Tayvhon Pierce completed their education in a chronological order. Tayvhon attended Frederick Douglass Academy from 2010 to 2014 and earned a High School Diploma with a focus on the School of Law. Following that, they enrolled at LaGuardia Community College from 2016 to 2019, obtaining an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Commercial Photography. Lastly, from 2019 to 2021, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Humanities and Justice at John Jay College (CUNY).
