The executive team at International Center of Photography has a long history in the art industry. John Wieland, the current director, has been a curator and head at multiple museums including the Mead Art Museum and Minneapolis Institute of Arts. The education histories of the team members are also quite impressive. Wieland attended Williams College and Duke University for History of Art while the associate director, Helena Rubinstein, went to Whitney Museum of American Art for Director of Adult and Academic Programs.
