Garima Deepak's work experience includes being a Director at the International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR) since July 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Legal Consultant at the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) from June 2020 to July 2021. Before their role at UNITAR, they served as a Research Assistant to Professor D. Brian King at New York University School of Law from February 2019 to October 2019. Garima also worked as a Senior Associate at Luthra & Luthra Law Offices from April 2017 to October 2017, and as an Associate from August 2014 to March 2017. Garima gained experience as a Legal Intern at Ernst & Young in August 2012, and as a Legal Intern at Clarus Law Associates in March 2012. Garima began their career as a Summer Intern at The Communication Hub in June 2009.

Garima Deepak has a diverse education history. In 2008, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science (Hons.) from Jesus and Mary College at the University of Delhi. Garima then pursued their Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi from 2011 to 2014.

After their LLB, Garima enrolled at New York University School of Law in 2018 and completed their Master's Degree, LL.M. in International Legal Studies in 2019. Garima'sstudies at NYU Law focused on International Arbitration, Dispute resolution, International Trade Law, and International Law.

Garima also obtained additional certifications to enhance their legal qualifications. Garima became an Attorney and Counselor from the New York Supreme Court Appellate Division, First Department in October 2020. Furthermore, they are admitted to practice law in India, certified by the Bar Council Of India in 2015.
