Philipp Nigitsch

Philipp Nigitsch is an experienced professional in international relations and project management, currently serving as an Associate Project Officer at the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) since September 2021, with a focus on project development and management in collaboration with the European Commission. Previously, Philipp held roles such as Policy Expert at ICMPD's Brussels Mission, Trainee at the European Commission focusing on Foreign, Security and Defence Policy, and worked with the Austrian Federal Ministry for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs on Middle East and North Africa policies. Philipp's early experiences include an internship at the Permanent Mission of Austria to the United Nations during the Human Rights Council, a research position at the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, and peer tutoring at the University of Vienna. Philipp Nigitsch holds a Master of Arts in Political Science and two Bachelor's degrees in International Development and Political Science from the University of Vienna.
