Fabio Buonomo

Fabio Buonomo is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in ethics and human rights within international organizations. Currently serving as an Ethics Advisor at the International Civil Aviation Organization since September 2020, Fabio previously held the position of Ethics Officer at the World Food Programme from September 2018 to August 2020. With a strong background in legal advisory roles, including a tenure as Legal Adviser for the United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus from 2009 to 2018, Fabio's career also encompasses significant positions within various UN missions, where responsibilities included Deputy Chief of the Conduct and Discipline Unit and Legal Affairs Officer. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in International Protection of Human Rights from the STOÀ Institute, complemented by advanced studies at prestigious institutions such as the European University Institute and The Hague Academy of International Law.
