Laura Gordon has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Laura has held several roles at International Conference Services (ICS), starting in 2014. Their positions at ICS include Director of Operations, Department Head for Educational Programs, Senior Project/Conference Manager, Project/Conference Manager, and Tradeshow Manager. At ICS, they were responsible for sales and relationship management with exhibitors and vendors, logistic management for tradeshows, and the development and growth of tradeshows within BC and Alberta. Laura also played a key role in the redesign of the ICS and ECF websites.

Before joining ICS, Laura worked as an Assistant Event Supervisor at Bright Ideas Event Coordinators Ltd. from 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, they worked as an Account Specialist at J&R Home Products from 2011 to 2012. Laura's earliest work experience includes a role as an Event Coordinator at Forum Group Events in 2009 and as a Consumer Insight & Planning Executive at HEINEKEN from 2004 to 2007. Laura also briefly worked in Client Services at Inventa in 2011.

Laura Gordon obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA hons) degree in Marketing and Business from Queen Margaret University from 1999 to 2003. Later, from 2012 to 2014, they acquired a Certificate in Multimedia Design and Web Development from The University of British Columbia.
