Gerard Langes has extensive work experience in the maritime industry. Gerard started their career as the Chief Executive Officer of TDT Australia in 1996 and served in that role until 2005. From 2004 to 2006, they worked at P&O Ports as part of the P&O Institute. Gerard then joined DP World as the Head of DP World Institute from 2006 to 2010. Gerard went on to work at P&O Maritime Services as the Executive General Manager in South America and Managing Director of P&O Maritime Services (Paraguay) S.A. from 2011 to 2012. Gerard then served as the Executive General Manager of Organisational Capability at P&O Maritime Services from 2010 to 2011. In 2013, Gerard joined Containerchain as a Business Development Consultant and later became the General Manager in Australia until 2014. Gerard then served as the Director of Project Implementation at Portside Solutions Pty Ltd from 2013 to 2014. Gerard was also a Business Owner/Director at Container Transport Alliance Australia (CTAA) from 2014 to 2018. Their most recent role was as the Head of Business Development for the APAC region at International Container Terminal Services, Inc., where they started in 2018.
Gerard Langes completed Executive Leadership Development at Hay Group in 2008. In 2011, they attended the Institute of Company Directors to study Company Directorship. Gerard also studied Terminal Business Management at DP World Institute in 2006.
