Ibrahim Yahaya Ibrahim currently serves as the Deputy Director of the Sahel Project at the International Crisis Group, a position held since September 2018, after previously being a Senior Analyst for the same project. Prior to this role, Ibrahim worked at the University of Florida from August 2013 to September 2018 as a Graduate Research Assistant, where responsibilities included conducting research, writing academic papers, and organizing academic events. Ibrahim also has experience as an Executive Director at Al-Basar International Foundation from April 2009 to July 2011, and as a Research Assistant at Universite Abdou Moumouni Dioffo de Niamey from 2007 to 2009. Academically, Ibrahim earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Political Science and Government from the University of Florida between 2011 and 2018.
