Margaux Dandrifosse

Research Intern at International Crisis Group

Margaux Dandrifosse is a dedicated researcher with a strong background in international studies and security. Currently serving as a Research Intern at the International Crisis Group since October 2022, Margaux has also contributed to the IBEI as a Research Assistant since April 2021, focusing on the responses of third parties to natural resource sanctions and examining ethnic diversity's impact on public goods provision as part of the ERC-funded project "ETHNICGOODS." Furthermore, Margaux has assisted in the EU Jean Monnet Networks Project "SECUREU," which investigates the securitization of migrants and ethnic minorities in relation to xenophobia in the EU. Previous experience includes a role as a Research Analyst and Alliance Coordinator at Genocide Watch, where monitoring and reporting on conflicts and human rights issues in Guatemala and Sub-Saharan Africa were key responsibilities. Margaux holds a Research Master’s in International Studies and a Master’s in International Security from Institut Barcelona d’Estudis Internacionals, as well as a Bachelor's degree in European Studies from Maastricht University.
