Gabrielle Thompson

Gabrielle Thompson has a diverse range of work experience beginning in 2011. Gabrielle started as a Teachers Assistant at Project HELP, Inc. in 2011. In 2012, they worked as an English Teacher for Refugees at the Nashville International Center for Empowerment. Additionally, they held multiple roles at Middle Tennessee State University in 2012, including Education Abroad Assistant to Program Director and Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Department of Political Science and Global Studies. In 2014, they became the Program Director at Instituto Mixto De Ayuda Social. From 2012 to 2016, they were self-employed as the owner of "Modrash Kososy," providing specialized tutoring and training methods for Middle Eastern students. Gabrielle then served as an Adjunct Professor of Global Studies at Middle Tennessee State University from 2018 to 2019. Gabrielle'smost recent position, which they have held since 2015, is the Executive Director and CEO of Free for Life International. In 2022, they also became the President and CEO of IDEASWorld.org. Overall, Gabrielle Thompson has significant experience in education, program management, and leadership roles.

Gabrielle Thompson has attained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in International Development and Globalization from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU), which they completed between 2012 and 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Global Studies and Anthropology from MTSU from 2008 to 2012. Additionally, Gabrielle pursued Women's Studies at Yeditepe University in 2012, and Cultural Ecology and Comparative Education at Instituto Tecnológico Costa Rica starting in 2010.

In terms of additional certifications, Gabrielle became a Certified Trauma Informed Caregiver through Back2Back Ministries in May 2019. Gabrielle also obtained an Executive Coaching certification from Marc A. Wolfe Enterprises, LLC in July 2020.
