Dana McNairn

Dana McNairn is an experienced gender and policy analyst with a robust background in evidence-based policy development across various sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Gender Equality and Social Inclusion Technical Advisor at Banyan Global, Dana provides technical assistance for economic development strategies, focusing on workplace and entrepreneurial activities. In addition, Dana contributes as a Gender, Youth and Social Inclusion Specialist for the International Development Group LLC, where efforts focus on creating green jobs diagnostic tools. Previous roles include specialist positions in gender equality and social inclusion, economic empowerment, and policy advocacy across Southeast Asia, supported by a solid academic foundation that includes an MBA and a Professional Certificate from the University of Oxford. As a founder of the Gender and Development Working Group in Vietnam, Dana has championed initiatives focused on transforming social norms and promoting women's financial inclusion and economic empowerment.
