Arjan de Haan

Arjan de Haan is currently a Senior Program Specialist at the International Development Research Centre, focusing on sustainable and inclusive economies and climate resilience. Arjan has experience as Acting Director overseeing public policy research programs and as a Program Leader supporting research on inclusive growth in the global south. Previously, Arjan held positions at the Institute of Social Studies and the Department for International Development, with a background in social policy, development, and poverty research. Arjan also has a PhD in Social History and a MA in Sociology from Erasmus University Rotterdam and Leiden University, respectively.
