Irini Genitsaridi

Irini Genitsaridi is an accomplished data scientist with extensive experience in data analysis, predictive modeling, and software development across various sectors, including healthcare and climate change. Currently serving as Lead Data Scientist at the International Diabetes Federation, Irini employs advanced statistical modeling to analyze global diabetes prevalence and predict future trends. Previous roles include leading data science initiatives at ISeeChange, where Irini developed real-time predictive services utilizing Natural Language Processing and machine learning, and designing predictive models for Systemic Lupus Erythematosus at the University General Hospital of Heraklion. Irini's academic background includes a PhD in Artificial Intelligence in Medicine and a Master's degree in Information Systems from the University of Crete, complemented by experience in IT consulting and teaching.
