Elisa Quiroz is a seasoned legal professional with a focus on human rights and immigration issues. Currently serving as a Senior Program Officer at the FIDH - International Federation for Human Rights since January 2021, Elisa has also held the positions of Program Officer and Legal Consultant within the same organization. Previous experience includes roles as a Legal Advisor and Fellow at TRIAL International, as well as working as a Research Assistant and Student Attorney at Harvard Law School, where Elisa contributed to both the International Human Rights Clinic and the Immigration and Refugee Clinic. Additional legal internships include work with the American Civil Liberties Union of Southern California and the United Nations Human Rights Office. An educational background includes a Doctor of Law (JD) from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Columbia University.
