Julie Pecheur

Julie Pecheur has a diverse work experience in the field of communications and journalism. Julie is currently employed as the Communications Director at FIDH - International Federation for Human Rights since January 2023. From November 2014 to August 2023, they served as the Communications & Advocacy Director at POLLINIS. Prior to that, they worked as a freelance international reporter for various French magazines and newspapers from May 2012 to September 2017. Julie also co-founded and served as the Director of Publishing at MINIGUIDE from May 2008 to 2012. Julie founded and was the Editor-in-Chief of The Paris Times Magazine from September 2005 to April 2008. Julie started their career as a journalist writing articles on U.S. economic, political, and social issues for multiple French newspapers and magazines from April 2000 to December 2003. Julie also briefly worked as the Chief Editor for The Oaxaca Times in 2004.

Julie Pecheur obtained their Maitrise degree in History from Paris VII - Jussieu, where they studied from 1994 to 1998. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Journalism and Latin America at Columbia | SIPA from 1999 to 2001.
