Raymond Chan

Vice Chair at IFIP

Raymond Chan is an academic with extensive experience in computer science and information security. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor and Lecturer at the Singapore Institute of Technology since September 2018, Raymond also holds the position of Vice Chair for IFIP TC 11.10 since April 2020. Previously, Raymond was a Lecturer at The University of Hong Kong from September 2012 to September 2018, where responsibilities included teaching various courses related to information security and cyberspace crime. Raymond began a career in research and programming at the Center for Information Security and Cryptography at HKU and also gained early experience as a Student Trainee at HSBC. Raymond earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Computer Science from The University of Hong Kong.
