Megan Hartman is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in strategic communications across various sectors. Currently serving as Principal of Communications at the International Federation of Accountants since February 2011, Megan leads initiatives for the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board and the International Foundation for Ethics and Audit, focusing on media relations and digital content development. Prior roles include contract communications staff at the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, where Megan worked on internal communications and financial literacy campaigns, and business development at AFS Intercultural Programs USA, managing initiatives and successful audits. Early career experience includes roles at Dow Chemicals, where communication strategies were developed for global projects, and Catholics for Choice, focusing on research and resource management. Megan holds a Master’s Degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from Northwestern University and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from The George Washington University.
