Joanne Cys

Joanne Cys has extensive experience in academia and design, currently serving as Provost and Chief Academic Officer at the University of South Australia since January 2010. Cys has held multiple leadership roles at the university, including Executive Dean of UniSA Creative, Professor and Pro Vice Chancellor of the Division of Education, Arts and Social Sciences, and Dean of Academic in the same division. Additionally, Cys serves as an Ambassador for the International Federation of Interior Architects/Designers and the Design Institute of Australia. Previously, Cys was the Jury Convenor for the Australian Interior Design Awards and served as a Board Member for the International Federation of Interior Architects/Designers, as well as Past President of the Design Institute of Australia.
