Nicole Fouda Mbarga

Nicole Fouda Mbarga is an experienced public health professional specializing in epidemiology, particularly in cholera control and emergency preparedness. Currently serving as the GTFCC Senior Officer for National Cholera Plans at the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, Nicole contributes to the development and implementation of strategies aimed at achieving cholera elimination by 2030. Previous roles include key positions at the World Health Organization, where Nicole led cholera response efforts and managed various aspects of public health emergencies. Nicole has also worked with organizations such as ALIMA and Médecins Sans Frontières, where significant contributions were made to epidemic intelligence and disease surveillance. With advanced degrees in public health and ongoing doctoral studies at Johns Hopkins, Nicole is dedicated to mentoring and leading health research initiatives.
