Jana Rajan

Jana Rajan serves as a Senior Principal Investigator and Staff Scientist at International Flavors & Fragrances since February 2021, following a merger with DuPont Nutrition and Biosciences. Prior to this role, Jana was a Principal Investigator and Staff Scientist at DuPont from June 2019 to February 2021, after transitioning to DuPont due to the merger of Dow and DuPont. Jana's extensive experience in microbial control was further developed at The Dow Chemical Company, where tenure lasted from February 2005 to June 2019 as a Senior Research Scientist. Additional previous roles include Development Associate at Arch Chemicals and Senior Development Scientist at Avecia, following a career that began in the Development Scientist role at Zeneca. Early career contributions also include a position as a Visiting Scientist at DuPont and research assistantship at Hindustan Lever Research Centre. Jana Rajan holds a PhD in Microbiology from Louisiana State University, an M Tech in Biochemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and an MSc in Biochemistry from the University of Mumbai.
