Roger W. Ferguson

Roger W. Ferguson is the current Director at IFF. Before that, they were the Head of Financial Services and a Member of Swiss Re's Executive Committee from January 2006 to December 2008. In this role, they led financial services for Swiss Re and served as chairman of Swiss Re America Holding Corporation. Roger was also a member of the company’s executive committee. From 1997 to 2006, Ferguson was the Vice Chairman of the Board of Governors for the Federal Reserve System. In this role, they represented the Federal Reserve on several international policy groups and served on key Federal Reserve System committees, including Payment System Oversight, Reserve Bank Operations and Supervision and Regulation. Prior to their work at the Federal Reserve, Ferguson was an Associate and Partner at McKinsey & Company from 1984 to 1997. Roger was also a Partner at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP from 1981 to 1984.

Roger W. Ferguson earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Harvard University. Roger then went on to earn a Doctor of Philosophy in Economics from Harvard University, followed by a Doctor of Law from Harvard University.
