Stan Knoops serves as the Global Head of Insight at International Flavors & Fragrances since October 2014, overseeing global consumer and sensory research for Home Care, Fabric Care, and Beauty Care categories. Prior to this, Stan held notable positions at Unilever, where leadership responsibilities included restructuring the Consumer Insights organization and managing significant global research projects. Experience also includes a directorial role at IFF for the ASPAC region, focusing on consumer insights for laundry categories. In addition to professional work, Stan is an active member of Whisky Club Utrecht and served on the Supervisory Board of an Expertise Centre for Marketing Insights, Research & Analytics from January 2017 to January 2023. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Sensory Research from Cornell University, an MSc in Consumer Behavior & Economics from the University of Groningen, and pursuing doctoral studies in New Product Development at Wageningen University.
