Taylor Jones is currently a Scientist II in Biochemistry Automation at IFF since May 2023. Previously, Taylor served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Stanford University from September 2017 to May 2023, working on a thesis focused on optogenetic engineering of BAR domain proteins under the supervision of Professor Bianxiao Cui. Additionally, Taylor contributed as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for various chemistry courses and worked as a Research Assistant at Virginia Commonwealth University, where the focus was on public health microbiology and wastewater contamination. Taylor also participated in an independent study related to microbial habitability in extraterrestrial conditions and held the position of Amgen Scholar at Stanford University School of Medicine, investigating transcriptional regulation in Chlamydomonas reinhardtii. Taylor holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Virginia Commonwealth University.
