Joe Watson

Joe Watson, CPP has a comprehensive work experience in the fresh produce industry. Joe served as the Vice President of Retail, Foodservice & Wholesale at the International Fresh Produce Association until the formation of IFPA in 2022. Prior to that, they held various leadership positions at the organization, including Vice President Member Engagement / Retail & Foodservice SME and Vice President of Member Engagement, Eastern USA. Before joining IFPA, Joe spent a significant portion of their career at Rouses Markets LLC, where they held roles such as Corporate Director of Produce and Director of Produce / Floral. Joe was responsible for overseeing all aspects of the produce department, including negotiations, strategy, planning, profitability, budgeting, and merchandising. Joe also served as a Produce Manager and Assistant Produce Manager earlier in their career.

Joe Watson, CPP obtained a high school diploma in General Studies from Tarkington High School, where they studied from 1978 to 1982. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Certified Produce Professional from the Produce Marketing Association in 1993.
