Klaus Pfeiffer

Klaus Pfeiffer currently serves as the Lead Investment Officer at the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), focusing on private sector investments to enhance rural economies and agricultural value chains. Additionally, Klaus holds a volunteer role as a lecturer at Justus-Liebig-Universität Giessen, teaching effective communication tools. Klaus is also a pro bono Mentor at MentorMe, supporting the development of women from diverse backgrounds. Previously, Klaus held several leadership positions at KfW, overseeing strategic projects in global equity, policy, finance, and development across various regions including Africa, Southeast Europe, and Asia. Klaus's extensive experience also includes serving on boards and investment committees for various financial and development institutions. Educational qualifications include a degree in International Finance from Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen, certificates in corporate governance, coaching, and mediation, among other professional training.
