Rogerio Gomes has a diverse work experience in the field of game development, art, and design. Rogerio has worked as a Professor of 3D, Character Art & Game Design at several institutions including INFNET INSTITUTE, PIX STUDIOS, UNICARIOCA UNIVERSITY, CASTELO BRANCO UNIVERSITY, and IBMR LAUREATE since January 2015. In 2011, they served as the Strategy Director at IGDA Rio. From November 2016 to October 2018, they worked as the Innovation lab Coordinator at Universidade Castelo Branco. Rogerio also held the position of Academic Program Coordinator at Instituto Infnet from August 2015 to September 2016. Prior to that, they worked as a 3D Artist at Swordtales Games from June 2011 to October 2015. In addition, they gained experience as a Senior Innovation Designer (Gamification) at MJV from May 2012 to December 2012. Rogerio started their career as the owner of Ilha Brasil, a company they founded in August 2006 and managed until November 2009.
Rogerio Gomes pursued their education by enrolling in various programs and institutions. In 2000, they attended Estácio and completed a Bachelor's degree in Law School, with a specialization in Internet Law, in 2005. Afterward, they decided to shift their focus and explore their passion for creative arts. From 2007 to 2008, Rogerio pursued an Associate's degree in Game Design at T&T, where they specialized in 3D Art & Design. Rogerio further enhanced their skills and knowledge in 3D art by completing a Postgraduate program in 3D Art for Games from 2009 to 2011. Overall, Rogerio Gomes demonstrated a diverse and dedicated approach to their education, cultivating expertise in both the legal and artistic realms.
