Thomas Hobbs

Thomas Hobbs is a seasoned finance and operations professional with extensive experience in the nonprofit sector. Currently serving as the Regional Finance & Operations Manager for International IDEA since May 2020, Hobbs oversees financial and operational strategies across the Asia-Pacific region. Prior roles include Head of Finance & HR for Welthungerhilfe in Iraq, where management of a EUR 15 million budget and a team of twelve was key, and Operations Advisor for WP, focusing on system improvements and staff development. Hobbs also held the position of Finance Manager at the Australian Indigenous Leadership Centre, contributing to significant revenue growth and organizational transformation, and began their career as an Accountant at achilleus accounting. Educationally, Hobbs holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Canberra.
