Kris Philipsen

Kris Philipsen is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience at Verizon Business, serving since January 2006 in various senior leadership roles, including Sr. Managing Director of Cyber Security Consulting and Managing Executive of the Security Analysis Center. In these positions, Kris oversees the operations of the Security Analysis Center, manages the global Application Security Program, and directs Governance, Risk, and Compliance initiatives in the EMEA region. Prior experiences include serving as a Senior Security Engineer at Cybertrust and a Security Engineer at Ubizen. Kris holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from UC San Diego and an Associate of Science in Computer Science from San Jacinto College, and currently contributes as a North America Advisory Council Member for (ISC)².
