Claire Shackleford

Volunteer Citizenship Literacy Tutor at International Institute of St. Louis

Claire Shackleford currently serves as a Legislative Correspondent for the U.S. House of Representatives since February 2023, having previously held the position of Staff Assistant/Legislative Correspondent. In addition to this role, Claire has volunteered as a Citizenship Literacy Tutor at the International Institute of St. Louis since May 2018, assisting students with the N-400 Application for Naturalization and preparing them for the Naturalization Interview and Test. Claire is also part of the Operations Team at Meyers Okohson Political Consulting, a firm focused on Democratic and Pro-Choice initiatives, and has served as a Volunteer Outreach Coordinator. Academically, Claire Shackleford earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Chicago (2018-2022) and completed high school at St. Joseph's Academy St. Louis (2014-2018).
