Georgy Potapov

Mr. Potapov coordinates the activities of the Bank’s Lending and Investment Bloc. Georgy Potapov has a longtime experience from a successful professional career in the area of international relations, financial and investment activities, corporate development and corporate management.

During his tenure at the IIB, Mr. Potapov has actively participated in the implementation of the tasks aimed at reforming and restarting the IIB as a full-fledged, modern and dynamically growing international development bank. Mr. Potapov has been responsible for the preparation of the Development Strategy of the IIB for 2018–2022 aimed at ensuring further stable growth of the Bank’s main indicators, its penetration in new markets, and development of its product and service lines in the interest of all its member states. In addition, Mr. Potapov has led the creation and active development of the Bank’s broad partnership network, thanks to which the IIB can now fully participate in international economic relations, occupying a respected place in the global community of development banks.
