Andrea Cuschieri

Andrea Cuschieri is an accomplished Research Support Officer I at the University of Malta, actively engaged in various roles including Junior Associate Editor, Student Editor, and Peer Reviewer for the International Journal of Medical Students. Andrea has also contributed as a Freelance Writer for THINK Magazine and as a Peer Reviewer for the Open Journal of Modern Neurosurgery under Scientific Research Publishing, Inc. USA. As President of the Malta Neurological Students' Society and a student representative in multiple committees within the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Malta, Andrea has demonstrated leadership in promoting student wellbeing and education. Previous roles include Editor in Chief for Minima Medica with the Malta Medical Students' Association, Education Officer for the Medical Biochemistry Students' Association, and Ambassador positions with NANSIG and Brainbook. Academic achievements include a Master of Science in Biochemistry, Medicine and ongoing studies in Doctor of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Malta.
