Rachit Shah is a dedicated medical student currently serving as a Student Editor at the International Journal of Medical Students (IJMS) since February 2024, and co-founding MedSchool Grammar in August 2019. Rachit gained practical research experience as an Exchange Student at the Coimbra Institute for Clinical and Biomedical Research in October 2023, working under Dr. Rosa Fernandes on age-related macular degeneration. An internship at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) in April 2023 provided Rachit with foundational laboratory skills, including micropipette usage and experiment design. Rachit participated in the Development of Indian Physician Scientist (DIPS 2023) event organized by JIPMER in March 2023, which focused on training medical students in various research fields. Rachit completed a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at Rajiv Gandhi Medical College & Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Hospital from 2018 to 2023, following education at Chatrabhuj Nursee Memorial School (ICSE).
