Scott Adams

Regional Director, Communications & Public Engagement at International Justice Mission

Scott Adams has extensive experience in communications and public engagement, with a focus on human trafficking and modern slavery. Scott has held various roles at International Justice Mission, including Regional Director, Global Senior Lead, Senior Communications Manager, Interim Director, and Communications Manager for South Asia. Scott has been responsible for crafting compelling content, building strong brands, and developing storytelling strategies. Prior to their work at International Justice Mission, Scott also worked at Arbitron (now Nielsen Audio) in network and station relations.

Scott Adams completed their education at the University of Nottingham, where they obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Slavery and Liberation from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they attended Elon University from 2003 to 2007, earning a BA degree in Communications, International Relations, and African Studies. In addition, they obtained certifications in Public Relations Strategy and Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell University.
